Here’s what’s coming up next week on OtherWorlds Television:

The Love Butcher (1975)
“The twisted tale of Caleb, and his alter ego Lester. After being pushed around too far, Caleb transforms into Lester and returns to those who have wronged him.”

Sword And The Dragon (1960)
“Ilya is a cripple without the use of his legs. When he aids some weary travellers, they surprise him by giving him a potion that restores his legs. He immediately becomes powerful and sets off to prove himself to his King. Doing so, he fights the evil Tugars, a wind demon that looks like a cross between a goblin and The Noid, a zeppelin-like ambassador, and the evil Tugars. Ilya gets framed for a crime he didn’t commit, then is freed, then finally dispatches the Tugars and their dragon.”

Mysterious Mr Wong (1934)
“Bela Lugosi stars as Mr. Wong, a \”harmless\” Chinatown shopkeeper by day and relentless blood-thirsty pursuer of the Twelve Coins of Confucius by night. With possession of the coins, Mr. Wong will be supreme ruler of the Chinese province of Keelat, and his evil destiny will be fulfilled. A killing spree follows in dark and dangerous Chinatown as Wong gets control of 11 of the 12 coins. Reporter Jason Barton Wallace Ford and his girl Peg are hot on his trail, but soon find themselves in serious trouble when they stumble onto Wong’s headquarters.”

Sisters of Death (1976)
“During an all-girl secret society initiation, one of the new members is killed playing Russian Roulette. Many years later the survivors are invited for a reunion to a lavish estate, which turns out to be owned by the crazed father of the girl who died.”

Future Women (1969)
“Sumuru, the beautiful leader of the all-female kingdom of Femina, plans to use her women to take over the world.”

The Monster of Venice (1965)
“A mad killer is loose in Venice’s catacombs. He attacks the beautiful women, releasing them into the underworld, kill them and then stop them and add them to his \”collection\”.”

The Day of the Triffids (1951)
“A shower of meteorites produces a rare night time spectacle that blinds anyone that looks at it. As it was such a beautiful sight, most people were watching, and as a consequence, 99% of the World’s population go completely blind. In the original novel, this chaos results in the escape of Triffids: farmed plants harvested for their oils, which are capable of moving themselves around and are carnivorous. In this film version, however, the Triffids are not indigenous plants. Instead they are space aliens whose spores have arrived in this and an earlier meteor shower. Derided by the original novel’s author, John Wyndham, for straying so far away from the source material.”

The Thirteenth Guest (1932)
“Thirteen years after a dinner party in which the thirteenth guest failed to arrive, the remaining guests are being murdered one by one, and their bodies being placed at the same dinner table in the appropriate seats they occupied thirteen years prior.”

Dracula vs Frankenstein (1971)
“Dracula conspires with a mad doctor to resurrect the Frankenstein Monster.”

Prisoners of the Lost Universe (1983)
“Three people are transported into a parallel universe. There they find that they must use modern technology, but medieval weapons, in order to save the citizenry from a murderous warlord.”

Night Screams (1987)
“A football star throws a party for his friends. Two insane killers escape from a nearby asylum on that same night, and in their efforts to elude authorities, wind up at the party.”

The Long Hair of Death (1964)
“In a 15th-century feudal village, a woman is accused of witchcraft and put to death. Her beautiful older daughter knows the real reason for the execution lies in the lord’s sexual desire for her mother. After confronting the lord on the matter, she, too, is killed. A much younger daughter is spared and taken in by her mother’s killers. Once she is of age, as a horrible, deadly plague sweeps the land, she marries the lord’s worthless son. Then, during a brutal thunderstorm, the older daughter mysteriously reappears and begins to avenge her mother’s death.”
